The family of a child who sustained critical wounds after getting pushed from the 10th floor of London's museum have announced their "courageous fighter" has accomplished his target of being able to jump, swim, and run once more.

The young youngster was aged six when he was thrown from a balcony by a adolescent, then 17.

The child, who was traveling with the family in the summer of 2019 when assaulted, lived through a 98-foot drop but suffered significant wounds, such as a bleed on the brain and broken bones.

His family shared in an update on a fundraising platform, they were delighted that he had been able to advance with his running, jumping and swimming before his upcoming procedure.

"He can't do it like other children his age, certainly, but we are unable to explain his movements in another manner than by saying it's jumping, swimming, and running."

"It's distinct, merely across a couple of yards or a minimal elevation, but it's an incredible success."

The child, who endured many months in intensive care, has continued to gain brain resilience.

Parents said although his memory skills were even now highly constrained, they were operational and progressing, so he was "gaining a common awareness at his speed, which increasingly allows him to be integrated with kids."

'Mission Accomplished'

They added: "Additionally, he is growing up, and because of his sessions with the movement specialist, he currently allows himself to unwind."

"Now, our pre-teen (we must face the facts, he's grown up any longer) has comprehended that he has to take rests; we need to remind him not as much."

He also reached a long-term aim with parent: "Because we reside a few kilometres from the ocean, they had planned their ultimate aim of having a picnic at the seaside and then coming back."

"Following multiple progressive training sessions, they ultimately finished their 150-minute trip. They arrived home exhausted but delighted. Mission accomplished."

Subsequent to a legal proceeding at the Old Bailey, the teenager was convicted of trying to kill and was jailed in the year 2020 for a minimum of a decade and a half.
